Artist Statement

Nature inspires my work which is concerned with a sense of ‘communion’ and ‘interconnectedness among all things’. Ideas are translated onto canvas and the process begins with laying down paint, layer upon layer. Working intuitively, the marks and pigments become interwoven where process becomes a form of meditation, thoughts and ideas; conscious and unconscious are expressed in a visual language.
